High Data Usage

I saw threads about high usage on iOS but nothing for Android phones. What is the deal with Spotify eating all my data? I've used over 3GB and still have a week to go. I never use that much. Ever. I only listen to Spotify in the car for maybe 30 mins at a time every now and then. Help!

I had a problem with high data usage on Android a few months ago.  I don't use Spotify in a car so this may be unlrelated.  In my case, I bought a new SD Card and Spotify got happy again.  See this thread and this FAQ.
