How to install spotify on foreign android phone (I have premium swedish account)

I live in both Sweden and Thailand (officially in Sweden) and have a Spotify premium account with my Swedish address.

I am currently in Thailand where I purchased an Android phone. I obviously use a Thai carrier while I am in Thailand.

I now try to download the spotify application but it is not avilable for download in this country.

How do I solve this problem since I have a Swedish premium account that I would like to use with my new android phone? Thanks

Hi, you will have to download it manually and sidelong it. The APK is linked: Download Spotify

I cannot guarantee that it will work as it may check your devices country on start.

You're better off getting it from m.spotify.com (enter this address into the browser on your Android phone) that way you know you have the latest version

Was reading about rotting the device, voiding the guarantee and lots of other stuff i didnt understand anything of but the solution was instead very simple and quick.

Hi, Same for me. I live and have an account in the Netherlands but also live in Thailand and work in China. How can i have Spotify on my iPhone in Thailand and on my Macbook in Thailand and China?

By the way, I have the app on iPhone already but it doesn't work since i heard you cannot use it in Thailand. I have a VPN account too, any ideas??

If you have a spotify premium account and the app already installed you should be able to use it fine ... unless spotify is blocked on the network you are using?

similar issue. Uk premium account but in Indonesia at the moment with a new Samsung s4. The m.spotify.com thing doesn't work. Any other ideas?

Hi

I follow your advice regards apk. Nevertheless, when I download manually apk on m.spotify.com, I got systematic parse error. Phone I use is Samsung Galaxy Note bought in Korea. Indeed, spotify app is not available on google korea playstore.

What can I do ?

Hi Peter, 

I'm in the same situation, manually downloaded the app via your apk link. 

But now, how do I update the app as my google play still will not allow me to update automatically through the usual protocol.

I tried to use the apk link but nothing happens. I'm in the UAE but have a Canadian account as I live between both. I can't find the app on the store nor can I download it from anywhere. Any ideas?
