I can pick songs and have unlimited skips without premium on my phone

I can pick songs and have unlimited skips without premium on my phone

On my android phone
I've never seen anyone else with this same situation but when I want to play songs I can pick them on any playlist and I still have ads and I can't peek to the next songs

Hello there, thanks for reaching out 💚

 

Well it's certainly a first for me.

But I wouldn't say it's all too strange, sometimes premium users struggle with performing certain actions where it's like they're using a free account.

Can you help me with some info on that?

Have you used premium before on the account?

Are you able to play from any playlist? (A free account can have select playlists like chill mix for example allowing on demand listening)

Can you play songs from search?

Are there any other premium features?

 

Lastly, some device info would be appreciated, like your OS version and Spotify version.

Nope I have never used Premium in this account

Yes I can play from literally any playlist

Yes I can play songs from search 

Nope I don't think there are other premium features

Android Version is 10

Spotify version is 8.7.42.943

I need a your help on a few more things concerning your issue.

Firstly, can you provide a screen recording of your activity once you open the app. Like try to play a song and switch freely to other tracks on an album. Then you proceed to search for a track and play it.(At least thrice in a row so that the results are conclusive).

Next up, you can perform a clean reinstall of the app using the steps listed here and see if it changes anything.

Lastly, can you let me know what  country you're in and also the country your app is registered with(if they differ).

First of all how do you put a video here-

Will my account still be there if I clear the storage and the other instructions you said?

The country my app is registered to is Indonesia.

And yes I'm in Indonesia

Firstly, uploading files. 

Once you press the Reply button on a post, there's a small box underneath the message box where you can upload files, both images and short  videos.

It gives you the option to either drag and drop or browse from your device.

And yes, you will not lose your account/playlists or other data if you perform a clean reinstall.

I cant put videos on here only pictures 

And the clean reinstall didn't change anything in my account, I can still pick songs

My Spotify has been fixed! It fixed itself I don't know how but I can no longer pick songs. Thank you for trying to help me! 🙂
