I can't download local files

My Question or Issue

I wanted to download a song (yes, only one song) from local files. So I uploaded it from my pc, put the song into a separate playlist and tried to hit "Download" on my phone. And by now I've been stuck with this annoying "Waiting to download" note and nothing happens. It's only when I want to download this file (the only local file I've uploaded), and it works perfectly if I want to download playlists that include only online songs. 

- I've read a LOT of articles about this issue, but none of the solutions worked for me. 

- I have enough free space

- As far as I'm concerned I can't disable firewall on Android, even if it exists, which I doubt after about an hour trying to find it

- I have a strong Internet connection, and still I tried to download it while connected to multiple separate WiFis, mobile data as well, so I doubt it's an Internet issue, but I could be wrong

- I updated, uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify, restarted my phone, deleted cache (all of the above multiple times) 

What else can I do?

Welcome to the Community! I hope you're doing great.

Can you give it one more try by reinstalling Spotify  but making sure you remove your offline devices before?

Make sure that you are on the same WiFi network and Windows & third party firewalls are configured to allow the Spotify connection through.
