Can anyone help me? It seems that the button to leave a group session is not showing in any of my devices and my friend's too. Right now, my friend and I are tied and none of us can play music or the other one will be disturbed.

Found a solution: just try to invite someone again and Spotify will start to "wait for friends". At that moment, if you leave the section and return to it, the session will be fully activated with the End Session button showing.

My Question or Issue
I started a group session with my friends, and I am unable to end the session. The buttons to view participating members and invite members exist; however the end button does not show up. Upon doing some searching on the session functionality, I discovered that the session should automatically end after one hour of inactivity; but after 12 hours, the session is still live (untampered with in that duration).
Has anyone else experienced this and found a workaround?

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try logging out > log back in. If you're still having trouble, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.

Since the group session feature has changed in recent updates, the process to leave the session might be different. If you're part of a Remote group session, you can follow the instructions mentioned in this article. In case you're using a Group session on speaker, check out the steps of this one.
If the issue persists, it could be related to some damaged cache stored on your device. In case you haven't tried before, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article.
If the issue is still not fixed, include in your next response the make, model and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

I also just experienced this issue. A workaround I found is to open Spotify on my Desktop and choose my Phone from there.
I just started blasting clown core metal music and made them sort**bleep** out!
I’ve just been invited by a random person (not in my friend list) to join a playlist. As I didn’t really understand what it was I am now stuck in a playlist with a stranger and there is no Leave-button. I have just logged out and uninstalled the app and do hope it’ll be back to normal after reinstalling.
Could this be a way of hacking into people’s account (which has also happened to me with Spotify)?
Please get this fixed or just uninstall this function again as it’s obviously still confusing how to end/leave the session. Thanks!
