I can't select songs i want to play

I've had Spotify for about a month now, and I signed in on an android phone ( my tablet is also android) only to find out that I can only press the shuffle button on a playlist or album. And I really want to listen the songs on playlists and albums in order.

Hi there GryffindorGirl1,

You can only select certain songs if you are using Spotify Premium. To unlock a Premium account, it requires you to either go through free trial or paying for premium. You can find this in the settings within the app.
