Issues with play back once phone is locked.

Issues with play back once phone is locked.

Ok what happens is while I'm playing music I have a Bluetooth headset when I'm working which is never had an issue before and when I'm driving it connects to the trucks audio deck, now after a few minutes playing a song and the phone locks I'm unable to press next song or pause either on my deck or my hands free device, at first I thought it was just a Bluetooth issue so I've been talking back and forth with Samsung but it seems to be an issue with Spotify itself I reinstalled the app and everything was working fine for 3 or 4 days but now I'm back to square one again, please help!
