JRE - Audio Only

Can you please provide an update on the audio version of JRE for your desktop application?   

Not sure if it is your plan to ruin this podcast, but in its current format it destroys my CPU and is terrible quality.  Joe and Young Jamie figured out how to do both on multiple platforms.  I figured a 28 billion dollar company could provide the same.  Really looking forward to the audio only version...

At the moment, it's not possible to turn the podcast video off. However, other users also think this would be a good idea.

In this case, you can add your +VOTE and Subscribe to this thread. That way you can stay up-to-date with any relevant news about this.

It appears that video is still being downloaded even if I close down the video window. It is killing my data limited internet access. I used to listen to JRE every week, since the move to spotify and implementation of forced video streaming, I haven't been able to listen. Give us an option to only stream the audio!
