Keyboard not available - Android Tv box

For the past week the keyboard on my app is simply not available - worked perfectly before that. I'm using an Android tv box (Xiaomi Mi) with a television screen. I have tried clearing the cache, clearing the data, then uninstalling Spotify, switching the box off for a few minutes and then re-installing the app but it makes no difference. I have tried this multiple times. The keyboard is available for all other apps except Spotify.  

Any thoughts on what the problem is?

Does anyone know what the problem could be? Seems like if is a spotify problem.
