Local Files Playlists no longer working

Local Files Playlists no longer working

I have looked through all similar threads and nothing has worked.

Today, I woke up to Spotify having undownloaded every single one of my songs, including the ones I synced from my PC to my phone. Now, no matter what I try, I cannot sync songs from my PC onto my Android (that are not on spotify ex. Hear Me by A$AP Rocky) as I used to via offline playlists.
My phone has 4gb of space and is on the same wifi as always and is not in "sleep".
When I click the download, it says waiting to download, and says eaech song is unavailable.

Is this a new live update Spotify sent out or is there a way to fix this? Much appreciated

Hello @ffffffffffffffs,

Please try the following:

1. Uninstall spotify
2. Restart your phone
3. Clean up phone memory / create space
4. Reinstall Spotify
5. Once logged into your account, you should be able to download songs immediately

Let me know if it works!

Hello @Bittencourt

I have reinstalled spotify twice and I have 4gb of space, still nothing

thank you for the response

I see, but maybe turning the phone off after uninstalling may do the trick. Anyway I'll check what might be causing this issue.

Tried this as well just now and it did not work, thank you for the suggestion

Ok, so I recommend you get in touch with the spotify support team by using the online contact form or by tweeting @SpotifyCares on twitter. They are able to fix this for you.

If you get an auto reply back directing you to the help pages, just reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the employees will get back to you as soon as possible.
