Local Files from Desktop on Android

Hey everyone, I'm having problems with playing my local files from my computer on my android device.  Can't seem how to sync them over to a different device.  I created a playlist, and can locate it on the android device, however, when I toggle the download switch, it is just stuck on 'Waiting to download' forever.  Yes, I am on the same WiFi network.  I can't play any of the songs from my playlist on my mobile, they are all grayed out, but I can play them fine on the desktop.  How do you get around this?  Thanks in advance!

Solved it, had to disable the windows firewall on spotify.

I have the same problem. It worked before last two updates...... 😞 I'm on a mac so no windows firewall. any ideas?
