Login stuck?

I am trying to login with my email & password.

After filling out email and password and hitting the login button, the login button's text changes to "LOGGING IN..." momentarily, after which it goes back to "LOGIN" and nothing happens, with the app remaining in the login form page.

I am entering the right credentials 100% because I can use them to login to the website, and because when I purposefully enter a wrong password the app tells me it can't authenticate.

I tried resetting password -- didn't help.

I tried uninstalling and installing latest version from the store -- didn't help.

I am using Samsung Galaxy S7 running Android version 7.0.

Same problem look at youtube maybe you can find something

The android app only accepts a username or facebook login and won't accept an email address. If you still can't log in, uninstall your spotify app and download and install the official app from Play.

Hi, I've tried all of that. Tried reinstalling and tried login with
facebook (though I really didn't want to) and nothing. In both ways it just
says 'logging in' and then 'log in'. There has to be some kind of solution,
right??
