Are you guys using the default theme? If so, I suggest you flag this issue with Xiaomi support or post screenshots on their forum as I believe this is something they should be fixing.

This is an issue related to MIUI devices only and is replicable for multiple services. 

Below quote from the MIUI Moderation team:
