I was wondering when I listen to a playlist while on 3G, does the app plays all the songs over 3G, or it plays only the songs I didn't download to my phone.

Hey,

When you are listening to music on 3G, your phone will only use cellular data for the songs which you have not downloaded. Assuming that you have cellular data access enabled for the Spotify app.

I would highly recommend that you download the songs you listen to most frequently to avoid using up a lot of your cellular data or having the music cut out at times due to a bad network/cellular connection.
