Moving downloads from internal storage to external storage

My Question or Issue

I just purchased a MicroSD card for my phone to expand my storage and capacity so I could store more music, photos, videos, etc. I had seen a help guide where it said to change the location of the downloads to external storage would be in the storage settings, I looked, but did not find anything except the ability to clear the cache. I was wondering if there was another way to do this, or if I was missing a step in the process. Thank you.

i think i had the same issue awhile ago!

Have you formated the SD-Card as internal Storage in the android settings? This should enable Spotify to see the card.
