Music keeps getting deleted from my phone each time the app crashes

Music keeps getting deleted from my phone each time the app crashes

I transferred onto a Galaxy S7 Edge in July 2016 and I've been using Spotify premium since January 2016 and I am really enjoying the app and the music available compared to its rivals. But ever since August, I've had to redownload all of my offline music about 6-7 times now. Each time the phone restarts from the app consistently crashing, the screen then goes black and restarts the phone and all of my music gets deleted each time and I have to go redownload about 1700 songs back onto my SD card since I don't have the space on my phone. I've faced no problems like this on any other phone so I'm just wondering whether or not this directly has to do with the app or the phone. I'm finding it really frustrating that it keeps happening! Anyone have any ideas how to rectify this?

I'm having this same problem, as well as many other s7/edge users.  It has to be something that needs to be patched, we've all tried spotify support's recommended solutions and they don't work.  The issue persists and repeats itself.  They say "we'll reset your offline devices" yeah that's great and all, but the problem is that the s7 keeps popping up as a new phone each time the phone reboots.  and because of that we reach the 3-device quota without trying, when we actually have one device.
