Music resumes playback when mobile app reopened

My Question or Issue

I recently reinstalled Spotify for Android. Since then when I open the app music automatically starts platying. Sometimes it's the last track I listened, sometimees it's the last track I listened to on the phone, sometimes it's a track I listened to earlier on my Mac app.

The only thing that's consistent is that music automatically starts playing when the app opens.
