Music sounds muffled after each and every song, about two seconds into the song

My Question or Issue

 When I play my songs the song sounds muffled after 2 seconds.. It comes on loud and then just after a couple seconds goes muffled..it's weird because it did it before and I needed to update the app and it fixed it and then it's doing it again and the app does not need to be updated I'm updated everything and can't figure it out it works and then doesn't work and I don't know what's going on..

Have you tried to reinstall the app?

Several times sometimes it fixed it and other times it didn't

You may also want to go to your settings and check the Crossfade timing. Adjust it up or down, then try the song transition again.

For reference: I notice that I have mine set to 12s, which sounds a bit long. However, it works fine for me.

Or maybe turn off the sound normalization

My daughter fixed that today and it was the sound normalization thank you everybody for helping.. my phone must automatic set that to it every time it resets..

You don't know how crazy that made me, I was about ready to buy a new phone. I kind of had an idea yesterday it was the Spotify app..
