Dear Community,
Why is it that whenever my Android **bleep**ify app is upgraded it insists I log on?
I don't mind the login process so much as I hate the fact all my offline content (playlist) is removed every time this happens.
Why on earth does this happen?
I've been using this senseless app for far too long and it's been one disappointment after another. I've had enough.
You have exactly one week from now to come up with a working solution to this annoying problem, **bleep**ify, or I'll fire your ass for good!

Solved! Go to Solution.
Sounds weird, i have used it with Samsung S3 before and had no problems. It must be issue with your Spotify account.

What kind of phone do you have? Also make sure you use it from same save device as where offline data is saved.
And you can always try to factory reset your phone.
Hi Legitti,
Thank you for your kind suggestions!
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3. I have reset the phone. Several times.
And each time I re-install the app **bleep**ify thinks I'm using yet another phone and tells me I cannot log on from more than 3 devices (or something like that).
I fixed that problem but the app still deletes my offline playlist each and every time it's being upgraded through Google Play.
And I don't store the offline content in different locations. I use only one memory card and it's in place all the time.
Cheers,
Sten

The funniest thing of it all is the fact that Spotify blots out any attempt at re-writing their company name to a more appropriate version in which the Spot portion is exchanged for S-h-i-t (what comes out when you take a dump).
I guess that says it all. Obviously I'm not the first person to call this company by its true name 😄
Thanks again, Legitti!
I actually hoped Spotify employees would scan these community pages and handle the problem but judging from the link you sent me I guess I have to contact them that way as well.
I actually tried to find a support link prior to writing this post but I couldn't even find it. Either I need new glasses or Spotify is trying to conceal it so that nobody reports their errors 🙂
Google is your help 😉
But yeah, you can get better and detailed support from the link than here.
