My Question or Issue

Hi everybody,

 

I've noticed that the "share" function of my mobile application does not work on my One Plus.
When I try to share something on Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, it just crashes, going back to the homepage. The crash happens before letting me select which way I wanna share the song, just after selecting "share". No problems at all using the desktop version.

Reading on a One Plus forum, I've seen that I'm not the only one having this issue.
Is there a way to solve it?

Hey there @MostroVerde,

 

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

 

We'd first recommend trying a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your One Plus device. To do so, just follow the steps below:

  1. Head here and click Remove all devices
  2. Go to your Spotify settings, scroll down to Storage and then clear the cache
  3. From the Android home screen, tap Settings > Apps
  4. Find Spotify in your list of apps, tap it and clear the cache and data. Then select Uninstall.
  5. Switch your device off and wait a couple minutes
  6. Switch your device back on
  7. Open the Google Play Store then search for and install the Spotify Music app
