My Question or Issue

I own a Pixel Buds Pro and recently the One Touch button on both earphones do not work correctly with Spotify. It doesn't allow me to play, pause, and skip next songs. I already factory reset my earphones and also submitted feedback to Google. I just want to check if other users are having the same issue? I know that the buds work fine because it works with other apps.

Hey @bjtejada-PH,

Thanks for reaching out.

We did a quick web search and found a similar report in Google's support forum where the issue was resolved by opening Android Settings - Sound - Media and setting Hide Player to true. Give that a go and let us know if it helps.

If the issue persists or if you don't have that setting on your phone, try connecting the earbuds to a different device and/or using a different account and let us know the models, OS versions and Spotify versions of the devices you've tested with.

In the meantime, it's also worth trying a clean reinstall of the Spotify app.

We'll be on the lookout for your response.
