Only offline playlists are available when abroad

Hi,

I live in the UK but I often travel to Ireland to see friends and family.  When I'm back in Ireland I notice that only my offline playlists are available even though I have roaming turned on.  My partner also experiences this issue when he is in Ireland so this is not a phone specific issue.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

What happens if you try to stream music which isn't downloaded? Any error message?

Hi Joe,

I don't get any error messages. The app just buffers but nothing happens.
It behaves as though it's offline even though I have roaming on!

It could be worth checking the fix under "Cannot access Spotify on mobile data" in this post in case the Irish carrier is allocating an IPv6 APN. Failing that, I would suggest contacting your service provider.

You should try to download them all anyway. Or perhaps it's not a spotify problem but a roaming issue.
