@Inugohan that's weird,
to re-install on android cleanly
Go to System Settings
- Go to "Apps"
- Find Spotify there
- On Spotify's page, first, tap "Force Close"
- Then tap "Clear cache" if it's not greyed out.
- Then tap "Unninstall" and remove the app.
- If you can, remove the battery now. Power back on.
- Using a file manager on your phone or with your USB cable and your computer, go to Internal Storage > Android > Data and delete a folder called com.spotify.mobile.android.ui
- Reinstall Spotify from Google Play
let me know if that resolves your issue!
@Inugohan no worries, i'll send you over to spotify support while you troubleshoot
the quickest way to contact spotify directly is via here or support@spotify.com
if you let them know in as much detail as you can your problem (OS, spotify version, how you're connecting (i.e. wifi), how long you've had this issue, and the steps you've taken to resolve it - they should be able to have a look on their end and sort this out ASAP ^-^
hope you get a speedy resolution and let me know if you need help with anything else!
