Play Saved Artist, and other songs play...

So, for my example I have a list of artists saved and songs for each, example Tracy Lawrence (21 songs).  I get in the car and select artist, shuffle (and repeat) and after a random number of songs I get 2-3 other artist songs.  Sometimes it will return to my selected artist if I don't touch anything, but if I hit "next" it then randomizes forever.  If I'm on a long enough trip, it will return to my selected artist, play more songs, but eventually vear off again.  It's not specific to that artist, if I select Journey (33 songs) or Cinderella (18 songs) it also does it.

Why does it do this?

I don't recall it does this for playlists, but I'll need to watch closer.

It's a feature of spotify free on mobile. Spotify will play other "similar" songs from time to time.

I hear what you're saying and understand what you mean, but I'm still amused by the choice of "feature".  I'll have to pay more attention to Spotify at my desk.  I was not aware this was only happening on my phone, but it seems to be were I notice it the most.
