Hello,

I have the problem under Android 10 and MIUI 12 (Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro) that the playback notification in the status bar does not disappear after quitting.

This does not disappear until I kill the process of Spotify.

Does anyone have the problem or can help me here?

Could you send us a screenshot of how things look on your end? Can you also include some more info about exactly what's happening for you so we can investigate?

Everything exactly is at the top of the thread, I cannot say or show more about it.

The notification where the controls are present don't disappear when I close the app and come back automatically without starting the app again, only when I close the process the notification disappears

It is expected that the Spotify notification should remain visible a little bit longer after the app is closed. To remove it immediately, you need to close the process as you mentioned. 

It should also disappear after some time on it's own, but not directly. If you've noticed that it remains on screen for more than an hour, we'd recommend checking your battery setting and Spotify's permissions from your phone's settings.
