Playlist Song Search Bug

Hey, when I search for a certain song or a group in my own public playlist it doesn't play that song. For example I'm searching Nightwish in my playlist, it gives me the results that I want BUT when I click on a song it plays from the very start of my original list like I never made the search. It's really hard to explain.ı have royal blood lights out as the first song and when I click the first searched nightwish song it doesn't play nightwish and it plays lights out. It's so annoying, please help me with that.

If I search for "Pantera" in my metal playlist and I tap the first song "Cowboys From **bleep**" it instead plays the first song of the playlist. Almost as if I didn't search for anything at all and the songs that I was searching for were just there for show .(best way I could explain it)

This had been happening a few weeks ago and at one point was fixed but just in the past week it started happening again.

No fix, still the same. This is so annoying, I don't want to try the Reinstall option because I have loads of downloaded songs. We need immediate bug fix for this

Reinstall does NOT solve the problem. Just tried it, had to download a lot of songs again -> same bug as described.

Guess we'll have to wait for a fix 😕

Someone said it still doesn't work even with re-install! So no need to try we have to wait until Spotify fixes bug!

Hey, i am having the sam issue. Its really annoying when you have a playlist with 500+ songs. + the fact that shuffle turns of automaticly when you start a new song. It"s frustrating!

Initially I thought it happens because of my long playlist (+400 songs), but even with smaller playlists it still happena, reinstalling doesn't work either. I really hope it will get fizef soon...

Hey, i heard from spotify that they are working on it. Probily with next
update fixed, they said. So i hope so

Please fix this asap Spotify, having this problem for a week now... Also give Android the feature to swipe songs into the queue like ios, they got this a long time ago.

Same problem here as well. 😕

Hopefully it'll go away with the next update! I have the feeling, it started with the last update. Anyone else noticed this?

In the meantime :  Set your playlists to be shown in alphabetical order. Like this, finding your desired song is at least easier!

I fixed it somehow.
