Playlist on Computer will not sync/show up on phone. but starred songs will sync instantly

Playlist on Computer will not sync/show up on phone. but starred songs will sync instantly

Description

When I add a new playlist on my computer spotify, the playlist does not add on my mobile spotify.

I can add playlists on my mobile spotify but they will also not sync to my computer.

If I "star" a song on my computer, that song will instantly show up in my "starred" playlist on my mobile

 

 

 

What are the steps you took to get to the error/issue?

Open Spotify on Computer

Add new playlist

Open Spotify on Android

New playlist does not show up.

Restart spotify on computer and android

Playlist does not show up.

Uninstall spotify and all associated files per "Android HELP" thread

Turn off phone

Turn on phone

Reinstall spotify

Open spotify on Android

New playlist does not show up

 

 

On computer, 'star' a song

look on android spotify, starred song shows up instantly on 'starred' playlist

am able to download that starred song

 

What I expected to happen

When I added a new the playlist on the computer, I expected it to update on my android as well.
