Playlist sorting

Hi, Using spotify on my pc it works fine & if I add new songs to my list they sync in order if I filter by song or artist & are then in alphabetical order. But if I then go to use spotiify with the same playlist on my phone the newly added songs sit at the bottom of the list & won't order alphabeticaly, any ideas why? thanks

Hi Joe, thanks for replying, but on my android if I click on the three little dots at the top in my list I don't have either sort or filter option available

Not dots - reread the instructions which explain that dragging down your playlist will reveal the filter and sort bars at the top.

ah, my son has just told me that my question was wrong as I have a windows phone not an android, that's why I don't have the three lines

LOL. I know nothing about windows phones but a quick search of the community indicates that the sort feature isn't available this platform. Sorry.

hi, sorry to be a pain...... but can I ask you another question re my spotify? I understand that on my windows phone I can't sort or filter the songs in my playlist but what I don't understand is why when the list is already in song alphabetical order on spotify & when I use it on my pc, laptop & tablet but when I go to the same list on my phone it is not in alphabetical order?  hope that makes sense!

That's because it is only sorted on the one device. If you want your mobile to show the playlist in the same order, then go to the desktop  client, create a new empty playlist then drag all the tracks from your sorted playlist into this new one. Your mobile will then show the new playlist with the sorted tracks.
