My Question or Issue

Since the last update (I think), when I go to "Your library" normally a "Playlists" item would be in the top items (along with "Made for you", "Stations", "Songs", "Albums", "Artists", "Podcasts"). Some of the playlists show up in "Recently played", but the overview of all playlists is gone. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Thanks,

Peter

Hi @Katerina,

Thank you for the info, but I didn't see the new Your Library on Android as it is on the screenshots of iOS. I included a screenshot of my device.

But the problem solved itself a few moments ago, since an update for Spotify just arrived! I think the previous version contained a bug, because I can now see the new layout of Your Library.

Thanks again,

Peter

I have the same problem since, I think, a month ago or since the latest update. I've tried to find a solution in this community but found nothing. I follow this thread and wait for an answer to fix this frustrating problem.

Thanks for help

/Stefan

Hey there @Peter77 and @stefabolous,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community about this!

It sounds like you're seeing the new look for Your Library that we recently rolled out to Premium users.

Keep in mind that you can now view all your playlists in the Playlists section of the app. Any songs you've liked should now appear in a playlist called Liked Songs at the top of the Playlists section for fast access.

Your Recently Played list is now pinned to the top of your Home page, so you can always find it there.

We’ve also added a new Made For You section on Search to reliably find your Daily Mixes, Discover Weekly, Release Radar, and other personalized playlists. However, it's also possible to find them in a shelf on Home, or use Search to find them.

There's more info and tips about these changes in this Spotify Answer

Hope this helps clarify things! If there's anything else we can help with, don't hesitate to give us a shout and we'll be happy to lend a hand.

Have a lovely day 🙂

Hi again!

But the playlists is still gone??

I can't see them on your screenshot. Where are they?

/Stefan

Hi Stefan,

The screenshot is from before updating to the latest version from the Play Store. Your Library is completely changed in the newest version. It looks like in the links Katherina sent.

Make sure you have the latests version (8.5.17.676, updated 29th of July). It should show the playlist as the first tab under Your Library.

Best regards,

Peter

Hi again and thanks for the reply!
Unfortunately I can't find the playlists after updating to the latest version. I am attaching a screenshot. The text is in Swedish but the symbols are the same. As you can see, there are no playlists.

Hi Stefan,

That looks like the old layout, which was also in my screenshot. Are you on the latest version, 8.5.17.676 (see the details of the app in the settings of your phone)?

It could be you are on an older version. Spotify can gradually roll out features across countries or parts of the total user base. Hope the update will reach you soon!

Best regards,

Peter

Hello again!
I am attaching a new screenshot where you can see the latest update, 8.5.17.676.
I have an Android (I don't know if that matters?) Mobile phone and hope that Spotify roll out an update that will give me the playlists back.
Thank you for your interest and response.
/ Stefan
