Previously downloaded songs stop being downloaded.

I have a list downloaded on my android phone with all songs 100% downloaded and available offline. But now, at least two songs, which have previously been downloaded, have the grey arrow beside them and are unavailable in offline mode. This isn't the first time something like this has happened either, I can't count how many times it has happened but at least 10 times. I know the songs will download as soon as I get WiFi but I want to know why they stop being downloaded when they were downloaded last time I checked.
