Progress bar not showing. Tried new install, log out/in. Talked with 4 agents to no avail

By progress bar, do you mean the now playing bar at the bottom of the app?

Yes...the play/pause bar has disappeared. Can't turn off or pause music

Latest update:

A new update to the Spotify Android app should be coming out soon to fix this issue. Make sure you have auto updates on, if not you can go to the app store and manually update when it shows up.
