Random pause issue (Android 7.0 on Samsung S6)

Random pause issue (Android 7.0 on Samsung S6)

Premium plan
Italy
Samsung Galaxy S6 (Android 7.0 and phone kept up-to-date)

Spotify version: 8.5.51.941

Dear Sir or Madam,
I've been a premium Spotify user for over a year on my S6 and never had issues until now.
Now Spotify randomly stops playing music: more precisely, it pauses a track while playing it, and it needs to be resumed.
This happens randomly, sometimes after 45 minutes, sometimes after less than 10.

I have already tried every methods suggested by you in similar threads: removing battery saving mode, reinstalling, clearing cache, deleting files...
No success at all, unfortunately.
Spotify is allowed to run in the background, as it has always worked till now.
Every other app in the phone, and the phone itself, perfectly work.

This is a very annoying issue: to date, Spotify app is of no use, therefore I kindly ask you to fix this issue urgently.
I am available for any further detail, should you need.
I thank you for the attention.
Best regards.

Thank you for the kond attention.

Best regards.

I've personally decided to revert to 8.5.40.195 (8 January 2020) version: it perfectly works both offline and online.

Up till now I've found no cons on my Samsung S6, running Android 7.0 and kept up-to-date except obviously Spotify, which stays at 8.5.40.195 version.

Clearly, if you choose this solution, you need to go to Play Store and deactivate apps auto-update, therefore you take the burden of periodically search for and manually update every app but Spotify.

Please feel free to write me should you need further details.

Keep on enjoying great music and have a happy and peaceful Easter.

David
