Saved song quality before enabling extreme quality

Saved song quality before enabling extreme quality

Premium user on an android phone here... C=

I recently discovered I had the High quality option enabled for Downloads (offline mode), so I switch to Extreme quality but I don't notice any difference when listening to my songs which I saved before switching to Extreme quality.

Before switching to Extreme, the songs I chose to be available offline were downloaded with High quality only right?

Does the songs will upgrade automatically?

Do I have to re-add / re-download all my songs now that the Extreme quality is enabled?

I believe you will have to redownload the songs. In fact, your best bet would be to go into settings, clear all data, and sign back in so you have a fresh start. Then, you can start downloading at extreme quality. It has to do with the cache...sometimes data remains in the cache even after undownloading tracks, so clearing data is the most reliable method of resetting all of that. A pain, I know...hope that helps though.
