My Question or Issue

My issue is similar to this one, but I think it has a more specific cause. I was staying at a place with a smart TV recently, and accidentally left my Spotify account logged in after I left. When I realised (via Last.fm) that someone else was using my account to play music, I logged out everywhere online, and this activity stopped. However, ever since, the top of my home page has been the one artist and two playlists that this person played while logged in to my account, as well as couple of playlists that I had played just beforehand. It's like this section of the home page has been frozen in time after I logged out everywhere.

It's an annoying issue, though obviously the app still works. To fix it, I've tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app with no success (the issue appears on my PC as well, so I guess it's not client-side).

Any help with this would be much appreciated! Thanks:)

Hi @jthistl3,

Thanks for reaching out. You see the same across all devices, is that correct? How about the webplayer? If that is the case, then it will just take some time for these to update but they will eventually, the more of your own music you listen to, the better the recommendations will adapt to you. Alternatively, you can also follow the solution from the other thread and create a new account to start fresh.

Hope this clears things up.
