Shuffle Play not playing on mobile app, says I need Premium

Shuffle Play not playing on mobile app, says I need Premium

I have a free account, and when I press shuffle play on the mobile app, it says I need Premium.

 

I already tried clearing cache, but nothing happened.

Plz help, Thanks!

Hey there!

 

 

The only times Spotify will prompt you to get Premium when pressing shuffle is when you don't have a WiFi or 3G/4G Data Connection and you try to Shuffle Play a playlist (can't play songs/playlists offline without Premium), or if you are pressing that little green button on the song/album cover screen in which case it thinks you are trying to turn the shuffle feature off (Premium only). Check your wifi/data connection first, and if you still have issues try restarting the app or restarting your phone. If it still doesn't work try re-installing the app, it could be a bug.
