Shuffle play does not work as expected on Shield TV

Shuffle play does only jump a few songs forward, it never picks songs from the other end of the playlist. I noticed this issue only with the Nvidia shield TV

i am experiencing the same thing. Spotify desktop 1.0.36.124.g1cba1920.

When i click shuffle playing all my songs (3000+) the list is very narrow. Only including a few albums around the current song.

My phone app does not have this problem.
