Songs play separately from Bluetooth device

Pixel 6 pro, Android version 14, app version 8.8.80.599

For the past month or so when I'm connected to a pair of skullcandy head phones, the music stops mid song but the time on the song keeps playing with no sound. When I skip a song it does the music does the same thing for that song.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? This looks like something that may be cache-related.

To remove your cached data, follow the steps from this article and see if it makes a difference 🙂

Should the issue persist after this, I'd check if using a different device with your headphones would yield the same result.
If there are no issues, then I'd suggest going over the steps for a complete clean reinstall of the app on the affected device.

This will ensure there are no leftover files from previous installations.
