Songs stop playing, app going offline (NOT SOLVED)

Songs stop playing, app going offline (NOT SOLVED)

I tried replying to the "solved" issue but it is now closed.

Old thread: http://community.spotify.com/t5/Mobile-Android/Songs-stop-playing-app-going-offline/td-p/82935

Description

When in Radio or streaming song will play until end of current selected song and then will stop. When I unlock my Galaxy Nexus and go into Spotify it shows the app being offline. Sometimes it will connect and be online again sometimes it won't.

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1. First I went in the radio.

2. Then I selected a song.

3. The song started to play.

4. I turned off the screen and started to listen to the song.

5. After the song finished no songs continued to play in radio or streaming.

6. I turned on phone and saw that Spotify was offline.

BAD news. They won't debug apps running on custom ROM's 😞

Anyway, when I got this it turned out that I had blocked the Spotify app using background data. It caused the same error as your getting (I'm running CM10 Experimental on my S2).

I cleared the data again and reinstalled hoping this time it might work. So far it has been fine. I did have one random restart but i'll take it for now seeing that I've got the custom rom.
