Spotify? Hello? Are you there?

Solved!

Spotify? Hello? Are you there?

Phone: HTC One M8, Android 4.4.4
Premium Spotify Subscriber.
T-Mobile Uncarrier

Wonder if anyone else is experiencing a problem, in which Spotify is only working on WiFi. Not only is NOT working with 5 bars of 4G LTE, but the app is completely blank. It shows nothing. No playlist, no buttons, no words, no pictures, just a dark screen. I've killed the app, openend it up, uninstalled and reininstalled. Streaming quality is set to normal. Nothing selected that prevents me from streaming on my phone data.

As soon as I connect to WiFi, everything is absolutely fine. This wasn't always like this, within the past few weeks it's been acting up. I want to be able to use my Spotify when I'm out and about and NOT depend on a WiFi connection.

Stop telling me I'm offline, I'M NOT! You're offline Spotify, waaayy offline!

Thanks for listening, any advice will help 🙂

As far as I'm concerned, if you don't have data, Spotify don't show a black screen...

Maybe your provider is blocking streaming media due to overuse or as a prevention rule. Can you ask your carrier if they block something?
Kind regards,

Actually, Tmobile offers free music streaming data to their Simple Choice customers, which I am. I will still check with them, and release fury if that's the case. Thanks for your input!

Possibly you reached your data limit? I'm curious what T-mobile will say
Kind regards,
Felix

Hi there, there does seem to be an issue with T-Mobile and their use of IPv6... this is a known issue and it detailed in the guide previously linked. Please have a look at the guide to Common Issues as it gives some suggestions to work-around... and also the bug in which you can post your details.

I tried the guide as soon as it was posted. Wanted to give it some time to see if the fix would continue to work and it did! Thank you all for your time and help on this matter! Fantastic app, and fantastic community.

I'm curious. Could you let me know the software version you are on?

1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
2. Scroll to and tap Settings.
3. Scroll down to and tap About.
4. Tap Software information.
5. View the Software number
