Spotify Pausing after inactivity

After my phone is locked for 10 minutes and I have not interacted with it my spotify will pause. I have tried various different things to fix this issue but I can't seem to fix it. Data saver in Spotify is off, Data saver in my settings is off, Power Saver is off, Spotify is not optimised for battery, I've tried both online and offline modes, I've set Spotify to never go to sleep, I have no other program that monitors/optimises battery and Background data is enabled.

Dear Spotify, 

My boyfriend and I have been experiencing the same problem on our devices. We are both on the latest available version of the app.

Devices: BlackView 9000 Pro and Huawei P8 lite.
