Spotify Playlist only playing 80 songs

My Question or Issue

I have a Playlist of a 120 or so songs but when I select a song from the Playlist, it only plays 80 songs after it. Shuffling the Playlist does the same thing. It's really annoying because I just want to listen to my full Playlist, but I can't.

I'm replying to my own post just to say how annoying**bleep** is. I want to listen to a full playlist. Not 80 songs out of that playlist. Fix**bleep** Spotify.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

This is an interesting observation and we'd like to know more about it. Does the same happen with a different playlist, that has more than 100 songs in it?

Could you also try replicating the issue with a different account?

We'd also need some device related information like brand/model and operating system together with the Spotify version you're currently using.

This happens to me too but i believe its only on my phone. When i shuffle my 130 song playlist only 80 songs are queued

Thanks for posting in the Community.

The described behavior is expected. The visible items in the Queue are limited to 80 or 81, but the list of the visible items in the Queue will update itself to include the next portion of songs in the playlist. The maximum number of visible songs in the Queue does not affect the number of songs played from the playlists or the sorting of the playlist in any way.

Hi. I am having the same issue with only 81 visible songs in a queue. Before the update to 8.8.1.397 on 01/12/23, I could view unlimited songs in a queue. I understand that I can add unlimited songs to a queue, but that isn't the issue, the issue is only 81 songs are visible. I'd like to see all songs that I've queued. I like to add songs to a queue by shuffling a playlist first, then adding songs from that playlist to the queue below the "Next From (playlist name)", but am not able to do that if 81 songs are already queued. Can you please help? I've already had multiple reps try to help and they couldn't do anything. I've created a new account and it's still the same issue.

We understand where you're coming from, but, as mentioned by @Dian above, not seeing all the songs in the queue is expected behavior. That being said, we'd suggest you post your suggestion in our Idea Exchange boards, where Spotify users can share their feedback in the form of ideas, to improve the Spotify experience for everyone. Every user can suggest an idea or show their support for an existing one by voting for it! 

In this case, you just need to familiarize yourself with our Idea Exchange Guidelines. So, before you post your suggestion, look for existing ideas about it. Take into account you must follow the guidelines for submitting ideas, so your suggestion will be approved more quickly and smoothly.

the issue is not that there only 80 visible, if i jump to the end of the 80 songs, the list repeats. from song 1.

The shufflw playlist is limited to 80 songs on endless repeat in the same order.

(Shuffle and repeat set active). If i turn of the repeat option spotify will simply add songs not from my playlist to keep playing or end. I do not want spotify recommendations, nor do i want the playlist to end.

Happens on the windows app, as well as on android.
