Spotify Songs Skipping

As of recent I have noticed that during playback all of my spotify songs are skipping. It almost sounds like when a scratched CD is playing and a few seconds of the song is skipped over. This is happening on my android phone when i either play the music through speaker or headphones. I have reinstalled the app, redownloaded all of my music, and even replaced my headphones  (just incase). Nothing seems to be helping. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Could you confirm if this is only happening when using the Spotify app? Let us know the model of your device, operating system and version of Spotify your using.

I suggest you try a clean reinstall and see if it helps. This usually fixes most problems 🙂

Note: This will remove any saved offline tracks and cache.
