Spotify abroad

Hello,

I not to long ago moved to Japan to study. And now i decided to restart my premium to get some change in the music i had on my phone that i have.

But i noticed that i can not download the spotify app from the google play store as it is not published in Japan.

Is there a way for me to get ahold of the app so i can actualy listen to the music that i spent money on? Or am i doomed to have payed full price for half a service. That markets it'self as being able to use anywhere :,(

I can use the music on my computer fine, the problem is only in geting and using the app on my phone.

I have a swedish account and the card i used to pay for the premium was swedish aswell.

The phone i use is a "LG-P990"

I thank anyone that ha any ideas or ways for me to use the spotify app.

I am sure that your answer is the correct one, but it does not work for my phone it seems.

I can dowload the file but as soon as i try to start it i just get a error (parse error) when trying to install.

But that should be my phone being old and bad and not spotify not working.

Thanks again for the help but it seems that it's geting a new phone is what i might need for this to work.

If you have an old Android phone (Gingerbread 2.3.4) then unfortunately support has ended for that.

This is the last version of the SPotify app before they discontinued support.

Thank you so much again Daniel, it worked this time and i can use my Spootify on my old phone now 🙂

I have nothing more to ask now. And i have you to thank for saving my ears from the same music every day 😛

I can now enjoy the full spotify premium experience.
