Spotify connect do not work at latest releasers

I use Spotify since several years and also have a family account. Since the end of last year, I had noticed a behaviour of the Spotify app at Android devices, I haven't seen before.

I had trouble with the connection to my Yamaha Musiccast devices. It started with missing some devices in the device overview. As workaround, I woke up the device from sleep mode and could use as before.

Over the weeks, this workaround didn't work as before and finally, I cannot link to any device.

Now, I switched back to Spotify release 8.4.43.623 and everything is fine. When I use the latest release, 8.4.46.575, I cannot link. The only difference is the release of the Spotify app.

The Android devices of my family members use Android 7.0 up to 8.1. Most of the them are rooted and have unlocked boot loader.

Does anybody have an idea?
