Spotify connect not working on denon avr x3000

I just did the firmware update for the denon AVR-X3000 released in 29 jun 2017, and cannot use spotify connect with a samsung galaxy S8+, In the remote app after I log in, it says that I need spotify premium, wich I have (well I have family) but it used to work fine in the past.

any help?

There is a new firmware available. You can upgrade directly from receiver. It disables the old app in Denon and enables Spotify Connect.

I forgot to mention that you must use the Spotify app on your S8 and select Denon as a playing device.
