Spotify connect not working

Since a week or two I can't seem to use spotify connect on my android device anymore...

I reinstalled spotify and I could use it again... until I closed spotify...

Then I tried rebooting and it worked again... until I closed it again...

This keeps happening again and again, is there anything I can do or is this a bug in the app?
