Spotify connect showing unkown device

Hi,

My Spotify connect is showing an unkown device in the list when using my Nexus 5 with android 5.

It shows it and says it is playing on that device even though we are no not the same network, I'm not even connected via wifi.

I thought this was a requirement for spotify connect to work.

Should I be worried that my account/password has been compromised or is it an android bug?

All you can do is be sure no one is, and here's how: Log in to spotify.com > click "Sign out everywhere" (this will NOT affect your synced albums, songs, playlists) > click "Change Password".  Now log in to your device with your new credentials and you're set!
