Spotify disregarding offline music

Spotify disregarding offline music

I got a playlist of about 3000 songs on my phone. this is about 30-40 GB in Extreme quality.

About once every 2 weeks or sometimes once a week. my whole offline playlist appears undownloaded. But when i look at my storage still the 30-40GB is in use. (so the music isnt really gone.) and spotify just tries to download it again. this is anoying for a few reasons.

1. mostly i dont notice till my Data bundle has run out for 80%

2. redownloading takes about a whole day through my wifi.

3. after every time it does this i need to reformat my sd card.

I hope there is a resolution for this.

my phone is a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact just in case that might help.

Hi there.

Thanks for your input.

You are near limits, 3,333 is max on device for Offline.

That doesn't mean the problem is here - but you are soon close to limits anyway. To stop this from happening, remove your Spotify apps, log in to Spotify.com site, click "Remove offline devices". Install apps back and now download lists again - this solved my similar problem.

Also maybe yous hould cut your main list? Maybe only A+ tracks, so you don'n need to be near Offline limits. When limits reached, you need to cut anyway, to be able to continue using offline.

Kind regards,

Jyrziu xd

Thanks i'll try that. there were 3 offline devices in the list. so that could explain. Bummer though about the offline limit. Was not aware about that.
