Spotify doesn't play continuously

Solved!

Spotify doesn't play continuously

Alright so I have Spotify running all the time and it does so pretty fine. Though when the screen is off after a few plays the song seems to get stuck at - for example - 4:35/4:35 and it doesn't go to the next song. I have to turn on the screen again and press "right" (next song) and when I check on the computer (2 different accounts) I see that the play didn't count, it only shows the song I have played before the last song. I'm sure the problem is Android-related rather than Spotify. Let's move on to what I have:

Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1, Android 4.2.2

Spotify Free, 4.5.0.820

I've tried almost everything as I searched through the forums but nothing seemed to work. I tried clean installs, cache clears, logging out and in again, etc.

Hi,

Try turning on "Crossfade" and see if it works.

I have it running almost 2 hours now with the screen off just fine. Nice workaround, thanks!

(Though if it will happen again I might reply.)
