My Question or Issue

Previously in my library of playlists, I could search for an artist, and shuffle those songs of theirs in my pre-created playlist. For example, I have several songs of Zero 7 in a Chilled playlist, and used to he able to listen to those chosen songs of theirs in my playlist of over 1000 songs.

Now, Spotify has removed this feature and whatever playlist I go to, I cannot play just their songs; instead it shuffles between all the songs in my playlist. Frustrating as **bleep**; why did Spotify remove thus usual feature?

Often I want those particular songs, and don't want to go to the Artist page and listen to all my Liked songs of theirs (as there may be different genres of music from one artist in those liked songs which defeats the purpose!)

Spotify moderators, please reverse this and may my listening experience wholesome again!!!

Hey @biggestchip,

Thanks for writing about this here in the Community.

You can always submit an Idea suggesting that it'd be great if Spotify brought back a feature you're missing. To do so:

  1. Go to the Spotify Community
  2. Click on Menu
  3. Click on Ideas > Idea submissions
  4. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on “Let’s go

It's good to know that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented.

You can also check this Spotify Answer to get to know more about how your feedback will reach Spotify 🙂

Hope you'll find this info useful. Let us know if there's anything we can help with!
